Elisha’s songwriting career
“Big E” has been a part of the Nashville Music scene for over 15 years, first as a drummer and session player and then as a producer and songwriter. Hoffman got his start producing Shania Twain’s remix of “She’s All Right” and house music for the second half of the Dixie Chick’s “Fly” tour.
Faith Hill cut his song, “Give In To Me,” for the soundtrack album of the major motion picture Country Strong. Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund also sing the song in several onscreen visual performances, and their version climbed to #2 on the iTunes Soundtrack Top SongsChart and #2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart.
Elisha is a highly sought-after rock songwriter and producer. He has written and/or produced songs with several major label rock artists, including New Medicine (Atlantic/Photofinish), Decypher Down (Sony), Fighting With Wire (Atlantic), The Academy Is (Fueled by Ramen), Emphatic (Atlantic), and American Bang (Warner Bros.).
Elisha has 10 cuts on the Deluxe version of New Medicine’s album Race You To The Bottom (Atlantic/Photofinish) which debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Heatseeker’s chart. His song, “Race You to the Bottom” was a breakthrough top #15 Billboard radio hit.
Elisha is also having great success overseas. He co-wrote and co-produced 5 songs on the Australian country star Dianna Corcoran’s album, Keep Breathing. Two of his songs, “Wrong Girl” and “Keep Breathing” hit #1 on the Australian country charts. Elisha and Rebecca Lynn Howard have recently co-written and co-produced the rock album for the internationally acclaimed television and music star, Tom Beck.
